$200 BILLION: Not Out Of Reach For Google's Advertising Business, and Here Is How They Will Get There

Per Trefis estimates, Alphabet’s advertising revenues are likely to reach $211 billion by 2022 despite regulatory challenges and increased competition. The growth is likely to be driven by Google’s massive reach, utility value as a free online search provider, quality of search results as well as complementary digital assets (such as YouTube and Android). While regulation may hamper growth in the near term, Trefis estimates that Google’s net advertising revenue could grow at a CAGR of 16% between 2018 and 2024 to reach $243 billion in 2024 from $116 billion in 2018.

Here are some highlights, as per Trefis:

Additionally, Privacy and Business Model changes have changed the dynamics of the global advertising industry in the recent past

  • 2018 has been a transitional year for traditional online advertisers due to privacy-related concerns, with EU and the U.S. either imposing or planning to impose multi-billion-dollar fines on the likes of Facebook and Google.

  • Other traditional online advertisers have also seen growth cool-off due to a variety of issues including consumption weakness, transitions in business model and geo-political narratives.

  • Besides Google, the companies that have seen an acceleration in growth are Twitter, Facebook and Microsoft.

  • Twitter has benefited from its initiatives towards improving platform health like pruning bots and culling fake news with the aim of improving advertiser ROI.

  • Facebook, despite the Cambridge Analytica scandal, claims to have access to 2.7 billion unique users. While advertisers continue to approach Facebook to benefit from the company’s massive scale, the company has also benefited from WhatsApp's reach as well as from commerce capabilities on Instagram.

  • Microsoft has been steadily growing its advertising income, as the integration of its different platforms now provides the company with additional analytics ammunition, especially in LinkedIn and Bing.

Attract an Angel Investor

When pitching an angel investor, all the old rules still apply: be succinct, avoid jargon, have an exit strategy. But the economic turmoil of the last few years has made a complicated game even trickier. Here are some tips to win over angel interest:

  • Add experience: Seeing some gray hair on your management team will help ease investors' fears about your company's ability to deal with a tough economy. Even an unpaid, but highly experienced adviser could add to your credibility.

  • Be knowledgeable: You'll need market assessments, competitive analysis and solid marketing and sales plans if you expect to get anywhere with an angel. Even young companies need to demonstrate an expert knowledge of the market they are about to enter as well as the discipline to follow through with their game plan.

  • Communicate: An angel may not be interested in your business right away, especially if you don't have a track record as a successful entrepreneur. To combat that, you should formulate a way to keep them in the loop on big developments, like a major sale.

The burgeoning co-working model has inspired many business owners to adapt to the new model en masse.

There’s a lot to take into consideration when choosing the best co-working space for yourself/team members. Whether you are busy handling your dream-team of your dream venture or just a small business – your new routine requires you to have the ideal workplace.

The best co-working space should be able to fill every need, answer every query and most importantly, let you work on your goals irrespective of your field or profession.

Here are a few questions to ask yourself to see if the place you have in mind will contribute to your work and life in the most effective way possible:

Is It Cost-Effective?

Money tends to be the primary factor in most decision making. Outline your goals, set a budget as to how much you would like to spend per day for your co-working space and choose the space that best fits your needs. A low price point to start with is the best way to go. Make various plans that you or your team can subscribe to depending upon the frequency of your visits. At Grab Suite we provide you and your business with the flexibility of daily, monthly, and yearly rates, Starting at $40/Day. No Contracts, No Commitments, No Frills. Just Work Space, as you need it- when you need it. Visit our website for more details https://www.grabsuite.com/

Is this Co-working space going to help you with Time Management?

It is best to choose a Co-working space that is accessible 24/7. Choose a co-working space where you can work on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. While most modern entrepreneurs use co-working spaces and have a set routine , it is good to switch up your working hours .Therefore, choosing a space which offers flexibility or longer working hours are non-negotiable points in choosing the best co-working space.

Is the co-working space of your choice easily accessible and close by, cutting down travel time (which is one of the  main reasons entrepreneurs prefer co-working spaces)?

At Grab Suite we give each tenant an access card. You get to set your own schedule which allows you to work at your convenience.

Do you like the location and is it flexible?

Location is important for every business in every field, but it is absolutely vital for co-working spaces and its tenants, otherwise the whole concept would not make sense. I am sure you don’t want to choose an office that is far away from where you live. While you want to leave home in the morning to help increase productivity and grow your business, you probably don’t want a long commute. Finding a co-working space that has a good proximity to home will help you to

strike the right work life balance that suits you best. In addition, it will keep your prospective clients in close proximity to your co-working facility. Always search for the best strategic location, whether arriving from the airport or across town.

If you have a small team where people are constantly coming and going from the “office” space, you need to know that the space will accommodate. Ask yourself this question: can your co-working space accommodate your team meeting of say, 10 people? Can they give you an area where only one or two departments might have to work?  Flexibility is important for all, but essential for business owners.

Let’s talk a little more about flexibility – does your co-working space of choice have multiple conference rooms? Can it be easily located for interviews and meetings with prospective clients or employees?

The co-working space itself and its location is an important factor to be considered. Are you currently residing in Long Island or cross proximity? We are your best choice. We are located at 125 Michael Drive Syosset, NY 1179. Please contact us at this number or visit our website here https://www.grabsuite.com/

Is it fully Secure?

Safety is vital , especially for ladies choosing to work out of co-working spaces. There’s no point in charting out a whole routine with timing other than 9-5 if you can’t implement them due to safety issues. If you are responsible for a team, then this becomes a crucial point as the safety concerns for your team fall on you.

Therefore, you should check if the co-working space that you like is located in a safe, well-populated and well-located area. This location should be able to accommodate working late at night or calling down clients and/or team members without posing a problem. The travel to and from the co-working space and how connected it is also becomes another important point to consider here. Additionally, check if the co-working space offers any special security measures and if they provide closets or lockers to store your items. At Grab Suite, we are fully secured and we provide closets for our tenants.

Does It Have Good Infrastructure?

Does the outside match the inside? By infrastructure we don’t just mean it literally. Visit the co-working space for yourself and see – does it offer all the basics of an office? All the fundamental office stationary is usually available but always ask and check that all the basics are present –  such as WiFi , office stationery, printers, scanners, conference rooms, reception area and more. Does it have an ideal and optimal work environment? Is the ambiance conducive to getting your ideas flowing?

At Grab Suite, our offices are the perfect balance of seclusive and collaborative. Our amenities include high speed internet, gourmet coffee, world class printers, everything you need to get the job done. Not to mention, we offer access control security on every unit so you can rest assured your area is dedicated to you and your team members.

Finally, check out the dining options at each co-working space, including nearby restaurants, in-house snacks and vending machines, or a kitchen. Other conveniences to consider include free parking, an online member portal, and 24/7 building access as mentioned above.

Co-working spaces: Not just for start-up bros anymore

Co-working spaces.png

Co-working spaces emerged a decade ago as offices that served startups and freelancers. However, co-working spaces are not the same today, their appeal has broadened even to mainstream companies looking for the flexibility to increase their firm's operations or scale back operations as quickly as the situations demand. Furthermore, most entrepreneurs just want to avoid the hassle of setting up and maintaining their own offices while also decreasing overhead.

The cost is low and modern entrepreneurs can use features, such as conference rooms and photocopiers, at their disposal.

In fact, the concept of sharing the workplace has taken the corporate world by storm. Modern entrepreneurs and their team members can use these spaces for however long they like and build their businesses with all the professional tools needed to grow or even scale a business.

The fact is that in 2019, co-working spaces can positively impact start-ups as well as established entrepreneurs. There are a number of undeniable advantages of the co-sharing work space.

Here are seven reasons as to why co-working spaces are not just for lean startups anymore but also for established modern entrepreneurs:

Imagine an environment which is spacious, luxurious, affordable and hassle free. Sounds perfect, right? That’s what we’ve created with a creative co-working space.Less formalities and distractions, more productivity. Being surrounded by other modern entrepreneurs like you can also give you that extra boost of motivation. You’ll also have access to fully equipped conference rooms that will help you make the right impression all while increasing your productivity.

Networking Opportunities

Having a well-established network has become an important part of our lives. The easiest way to expand your network is to be apart of a co-working space. Being a modern entrepreneur can be difficult without a sense of community. With the right co-working space you will be surrounded by like minded entrepreneurs where you can share ideas and build a strong relationship that can last a lifetime. Working alone places a barrier between you and people who could potentially help your business. Co-working will put you close to people who might have vastly different skill sets or solutions to problems, allowing you to build professional and personal relationships.

Cost Efficient

Running a business will always mean that you have to contend with some level of fixed overhead costs. Choosing a co-working space is an easy way to eliminate many of those overhead costs. With a co-working space you don’t need to worry about additional utility bills or service providers. Everything you need is ready for you, all you need is your laptop! Grab Suite provides you and your business with the flexibility of daily, monthly and yearly rates starting at $40 per day.

Increased Well Being

It is important to create work-life balance, however a lot of today’s workplaces don’t have an environment to support that. At Grab Suite we provide high speed internet, gourmet coffee, world class printers, everything you need to get the job done. Not to mention, we offer access control security on every unit so you can rest assured your area is dedicated to you and your team members. Allowing you  to do your job in a healthier, more relaxed environment.

New Clients

As outlined earlier, co-working spaces are great for building your network and also for meeting new clients/team member.  Many co-working members have noticed a significant increase in new clients due to the relationships they’ve established at their place of work. Co-working spaces give your business more exposure to a diverse group of potential clients. It’s also a great way to find new people to work with. That local accountant you’ve been searching for might just be sitting right next to you!

Becoming More Efficient

An office environment creates an energy and mindset that can only come from interacting with fellow workers. According to a recent study featured on Office Vibe , a co-working office environment made 64% of entrepreneurs more productive, 68% of entrepreneurs more focused, and 90% of entrepreneurs more confident. In a co-working space, where everyone is busy on their own passion projects, this will drive you on to make your own business a success.

Co-working spaces are accessible 24/7. Entrepreneurs can decide whether to put in a long day when necessary, or can decide to take a long break in the middle of the day to go on a lunch date or the spa. As a modern entrepreneur working from a co-working space you can choose whether you want to work in a quiet space so you can focus, or in a more collaborative space with shared tables where interaction is encouraged. You can even decide to work from home, without repercussion, if you need to  deal with a family member need or just feel like staying home for that particular day(s). There are no contracts, no commitments, no frills. Just work space as you need it, when you need it.

As per the LA times article co-working has evolved and its appeal has proved more than a fad, a rush of start-ups has joined the competition, including one from the real estate services industry, which has long had a near monopoly on leasing office space. You can read more by clicking this link https://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-los-angeles-coworking-wework-20190512-story.html

My Post (3).png

When it comes to social media marketing, you must not only engage but also engage consistently. The main key to building valuable relationships is to join the conversation. Reach out to people in your community and respond to their comments. In order to do so effectively you must engage with your prospective customers and audience with empathy: this means not leaving spammy or one-sided comments that are strictly designed to help you. You would not walk up to someone and ask them to buy something before at least saying hello, right? Social media should be just that- social.

Gary’s $1.80 Instagram strategy is my best advice to grow followers, engagement and a meaningful community for your business or brand. Please click the link below to access this strategy

Every brand is different. Create your client avatar, dive in and do the research if you're not sure, as this will impact your message and creative. Here are some questions to ask yourself to make this process easier:

  • Who are you speaking to and where do they hang out most times (Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter or Facebook)

  • What are the unique benefits of using this as a communication and marketing channel?

  • In the context of our overall goals, what is the purpose of using this platform?

Write down whatever comes to mind.

For example, LinkedIn is more popular in the B2B world and has a very large international following. Meanwhile, Instagram is more visually oriented.

Most important, find out which social media platform is the one your ideal client spend their time on -- that’s where you need to spend your time. However, every business must be on all 4 social media platforms.

Here are 4 ways to make social media marketing effective in your business:

Be Yourself.

Share, tweet and post the things that interest you. Don’t sacrifice who you are for what you think others want you to be. And don’t waste time trying to make everything perfect; if you do, you’ll never post anything, start somewhere. What matters are your thoughts. Share things that will benefit your audience.

Connect with others!

The primary goal on social media is not find sales. The main goal is to build relationships and add value. This is a downfall for most people, who do not understand the long-term nature that is appropriate to undertake.

“If your social media strategy is to devote time and resources to creating content for social platforms, but you do not spend any resources to engage with your cultivated audience, your strategy will not be successful.

Schedule time to talk with people and engage. Reply to comments, check out your competitions and share your perspective. Again, always deploy empathy and put the needs of the person on the other end ahead of yours!

Don’t overproduce.

Overproduced content tends to turn people off on social media. People don’t care about your fancy writing, they want to know you genuinely care about their needs. They also want to get to know you, experience your day with you and relate to you.

It is imperative that you understand what your time is worth because there is a high likelihood that the cost of producing content on a continuous basis is drastically lower than what your time is worth. Do not be afraid to outsource! FreeeUp, Toptal and Upwork are the best platforms for outsourcing. Please click this link to access more outsourcing platforms https://freeeup.com/blog/freelance-economy/top-4-2018-outsourcing-platforms-vetted-freelancers/

Add Value First.

You know that guy at the mall who always wants to sell you health insurance? You don't want to be that guy. Take time to know people, engage, join in the conversation and offer freebies. Offering advice and giving suggestions will make you seem helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Create a great persona online and get people to ask you about yourself, rather than telling them about yourself, and they’ll be more receptive.

4 Habits Every Modern Entrepreneur Should Apply To their Mornings

morning routine.png

Many successful entrepreneurs are fueled by rigorous and consistent morning routines.

We are often motivated, focused and alert in the mornings. As a result, entrepreneurs who make the most of this crucial time are off to a great start for the day, putting them a step ahead of everyone else.

Here are five essential morning habits that can help you get the most out of your mornings, and propel you to develop a winning habit that you will thank yourself for adopting.

1. Prepare for the next day in advance

Preparing your errands and a mental list of what you need to accomplish the night before is crucial, as you cultivate the proper mindset  required to dominate the next day. Preparing in advance will create a sense of purpose and help to eliminate potential obstacles. Having a good plan in mind will help you to be on time with your commitments, organized and more effective. Your mind is very active while you’re sleeping, so planning your mornings night will help you to be more effective and productive in tackling your goals.

2. Quiet Time

Take time to meditate, exercise and evaluate yourself every morning. It does not matter how long you do this, all that matters is that you consistently carve out time to self-evaluate.  Journaling is also a great way to start your day. As entrepreneurs, we should focus on meditation or exercise, research suggests that 30 minutes of meditation improves depression symptoms (along with anxiety and pain) . Yoga is another great option. Click this link to find out more on meditating https://www.gaiam.com/blogs/discover/meditation-101-techniques-benefits-and-a-beginner-s-how-to

3. Consume a Healthy Breakfast

Eating a healthy breakfast puts your day on the right track. Beginning with  a healthy fruit salad to start the day is a complete win. A very famous celebrity and businessman named (who most likely needs no introduction) Richard Branson once stated he eats a fruit salad every morning. Twitter’s co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey has two hard-boiled eggs with soy sauce every morning. Most elite professionals, nutrition rituals exist as a very specific routine to begin the day. A healthy breakfast provides the body with the fuel it needs to perform at peak levels.

4. Think Positive

Be optimistic, and train your mind to default to positive over negativity.

“Don't forget to tell yourself positive things daily! You must love yourself internally to glow externally.” Hannah Bronfman

There is power in positive thinking. Research is revealing surprising insights about the impacts of positive thinking. Learn more about the science and how to increase your positive thoughts at this link http://www.rncentral.com/nursing-library/careplans/100_positive_thinking_exercises_to_incorporate_into_your_life/

Envisioning success will help you on your path to realizing success. Radiate happiness, think positive and work to healthily reduce anxiety. Reflect on your wins and work on your shortcomings every day!

With consistent and intentional application of these four morning essentials, entrepreneurial success is well within reach.

Starting a business is not easy and staying in business is also not as linear a path as some may think. It takes dedication, persistence, proper planning, good money management skills and accountability. However, with the right systems in place, we can all be successful in our pursuits. Here are 5 of the most common, and easily avoidable mistakes Small Business Owners make.

  • Not having proper Systems/record keeping in place

Most small business owners make this mistake. They refuse to streamline their expenses because business is not booming at this time. However, proper records will save you big time in the long run. Equipment, meals when you travel, travel expenses, educational expenses, etc. Start recording those in quick books, or even on a basic spreadsheet. Falling behind the 8-ball is much like climbing uphill.

  • Not Marketing

Marketing is very important in business. Marketing can take many forms, here are a few: word of mouth, internet marketing, blogs and traditional advertising. Marketing rules aren’t set, the best type of marketing for you depends on the nature of your business and your ideal client. Do not make the mistake of is assuming you don't need to market and that business will come to you.

  • Not Hiring Professionals

I totally get it, you are just starting out and you would rather have a friend help you instead of hiring someone because budget is tight right now. This is understandable, there are things you can learn about online and do yourself but there are many tasks that are better served being completed by someone else. As a business owner, your job is to only focus on two things: facilitating the growth of others, and  understanding where you provide the most value. It is imperative that you determine what your time is worth. Any task which can be completed by someone else below that cost, should be delegated. This is the only path to growth.

  • Not Incorporating

Incorporating your business should be the first thing you do when opening your business.  Especially if your small business is a clothing line etc. You want to consider trademarking your stuff. You can benefit from incorporation in a number of ways. Here are four ways in which you can: Save your money(save tax), improve your business image, make your business more desirable to customers and attract investors.Investors are likely to invest in corporations rather than partnerships . You can read more on incorporating at this link https://www.mycompanyworks.com/international.htm

It is time for us to cut the cost of health-care due to workplace stress. One recent article stated the following: “Us Economy is impacted by workplace stress at a high rate, as much as $300  billion a year.” It is ok to be ambitious but working long hours, engaging in politics at work and the stress of socializing outside of work are some of the biggest stressors. This was revealed by a recent Bridge by Instructure survey.

However, we can reduce stress in the workplace by taking these simple steps :

  • Define your Career Goals

Ensure you and your manager or Boss is on the same page. Be clear and make strategic plans towards your future. Focus on the bigger picture and create daily steps to getting to your goals. Make it easy to have conversations, be transparent this will help you to limit future stress.

4 Things to Consider Before Moving Your Business Into a Co-Working Space

Should I move my business to a coworking space?

If you work from home or run a business out of your home office, you might be wondering if it’s time to move your business into an office or coworking space. Here are 4 things to consider when deciding whether to move your business out of your home office.

If you are meeting with more clients

Are client meetings outside of your home keeping you busy? If so, it may be time to move your business into an office or coworking space. Having a convenient location to for clients come to you can reduce your travel time and logistical planning of meetings, while also increasing the time you can spend working.

Whether your home is convenient

Are clients coming to your home as a place of business? Consider where you live and the nature of the business you are conducting: Is your home convenient or easy to find? Is it near public transit or a convenient place to park? These factors can all be barriers for potential customers. If clients are having difficulty finding your home, it may be time to move your business into an office or coworking space. Coworking spaces in urban centers are typically located near convenient parking and public transit.

Are you hiring more employees?

Is your headcount growing? If so, you will have to decide where the people you hire will sit. Consider whether your home office physically has enough room for more workstations and if it is a convenient location for commuting. If your employees will work from your home office, determine how that will impact your insurance policies and weigh that cost against the cost of renting space. If your employees will be working remotely, consider the cost of upgrading to high-speed, reliable internet for virtual meetings. Offices and coworking spaces have access to high-speed internet and many will include it as an amenity.

Growing your network

Finally, consider the growth potential your business will have when moving into an office or coworking space: If you are working in an open, urban space, you are more likely to meet potential clients while going about your daily business. Working from a home office doesn’t offer the same opportunity for people to walk by and notice your business. Not only that, a coworking space allows you the opportunity to network with other small business owners, possibly landing your next big referral or client—the potential benefits outweigh the cost of renting a space.

In conclusion, there are several things you should consider before moving your home business into an office or coworking space. Consider where you are meeting your clients and if having a more convenient location would save time and money. Also consider your physical space and whether that is conducive to how your company is growing—as well as its future growth potential in a new space.
